DCC mobile app · Android and iOS
Support
The DCC mobile app lets you follow and answer, from your phone, the agents running in Dev Command Center on your computer: what needs you, what is running and what has finished, with each live conversation, permission requests and the agent's questions.
It does not work on its own: it needs DCC desktop (macOS or Linux) paired, with the computer awake and DCC open, because that is where the agents run. With no computer around, Explorar demonstração (explore demo) on the pairing screen opens fictional projects inside the app. The app's interface is currently in Portuguese (Brazil).
How to pair
- Install and open DCC on your computer, in a version with phone pairing.
- On the desktop, open Settings → Connections and click Pair via relay (Parear pelo relay). A QR code appears; it works once, for 5 minutes.
- On the phone, tap Escanear QR (scan QR) and point it at the computer screen (or paste the pairing link under Link de pareamento).
- The desktop asks for approval and shows a code. Approve only if it is the same code shown on the phone.
From then on the phone reconnects by itself, from any network, over the end-to-end encrypted channel. Each computer accepts up to 10 active devices.
Frequently asked questions
The app does not connect to my computer
Check that the computer is awake with DCC open, and that both have internet access; the app's banner shows the connection state and has a Tentar (try again) button. If the relay address was cleared on the desktop (Settings → Connections), remote access is turned off. If the app says the computer no longer recognizes this device, it was revoked: tap Parear de novo (pair again) and scan a new QR code.
The QR code does not work
Each QR code works once and for 5 minutes; generate another one on the desktop. The approval request also expires after 2 minutes without an answer. If the computer already has 10 active devices, revoke one before pairing another. The app needs camera permission; without it, paste the pairing link.
Notifications do not arrive
Check in the app, under Configurações → Notificações deste aparelho, that they are on, and that the system allows notifications from DCC. The computer must be awake with DCC open to send them. By design, no notification arrives while the app is open and connected (it already shows the request), while you are using the desktop (DCC window focused and keyboard or mouse used in the last 3 minutes), or beyond 5 per minute per device; each request notifies only once. Today, permission requests, agent questions and finished or interrupted tasks send notifications.
How do I revoke a device (for example, if I lost my phone)?
On the desktop, under Settings → Connections → Paired devices (Dispositivos pareados), revoke the device. The connection drops immediately, its key is no longer accepted and the notification token is deleted. To use the app again, pair again with a new QR code. On the phone itself, Configurações → Esquecer este computador (forget this computer) removes the pairing on the app's side.
Can the relay see my conversations?
No. Phone and computer encrypt everything end to end; the relay only sees the room identifier, IP addresses, timing and packet sizes. The details are in the privacy policy.
Dictation does not recognize my speech
Dictation uses the system's speech recognition, in Portuguese. Check the microphone and speech recognition permissions. On Android, on-device recognition depends on Android System Intelligence with Portuguese installed; without it, the system uses Google's online service.
How do I get updates?
Through the store and, for changes to the app's code only, automatically: the app downloads the new version in the background and offers Reiniciar (restart) once it is ready. Configurações (settings) shows which version is running.
Still need help?
Open an issue on GitHub describing the problem, with your phone model, system version and what the screen shows. Do not paste keys, tokens, pairing links or private content. To report a vulnerability, follow the security policy instead of opening a public issue.
